We're Back.......from the 24th Annual Husqvarna Viking Convention. Join us at 11am on Saturday, August 7th for our CONVENTION UNWRAPPED introduction of new products. Need some hints- 5D DID knock my socks off, and hope everyone else will be as impressed. And our newest gem,the RUBY, is truly love at first touch.
Of course we would be happy to see you at any time to demonstrate any of our sewing, sewing/embroidery machine, software or any product you are interested in
M & M Mondays...
Where, oh where, is the Five Dollar Quilt? It's back under a new name!
We started a new Block of the Month in April and named it M&M Club.
The sign up fee was $20 with all the same rules as the Five Dollar Quilt (well, one rule: If you do not have the block completed by the next month, we charge a $5 fee for the next kit).
This year Linda Rose chose the pattern and is PREPARED with M&Ms!
THE MM CLUB IS NOW CLOSED FOR $20 SIGN UP.
ALL blocks and patterns will be avaviable for a monthly $5 fee to those who would like to do the quilt.
JOIN THE MAD HATTER'S MYSTERY QUILT CHALLENGE
What is more intriguing than a brown paper bag with a number on it and fabric inside?
Okay... the smell of chocolate plus the fabric would improve the interest level.
Participants must register for the challenge. There is a fee of $17.95 for the bag and Tea Party. Any day in June, pick up a numbered brown bag. Then follow the instructions inside the bag. At the Tea Party, you bring in the completed contents of the bag ... IN THE BAG! We reveal the quilt on the design board, bag by bag. As a group we trim, square, sew it all together to create one quilt top. After we finish, all the bag numbers are put in a bowl and a winner is selected who then takes home a complete quilt top!
Bags will be ready June 1st. The Tea Party will be Sunday, July 11th.
KIDS! JOIN OUR BUG-FREE SEWING CAMP
Summer sewing camp is now ready to go. Time to sign up!
There is a limit of five kids per session, so don't miss out.

The beginning sewers will do a tote bag and pillow case.
Lorraine has searched high and low for some cute projects for the experienced sewers.
They will do a a nightshirt and pillow case/carrier in July (which can also be made American Girl doll size)
and a really cute quilted pieced tote in August. You may want to make one for yourself!
