Requirements:
Materials:
⦁ Sewing machine in good working order
⦁ Fabric cut and ironed as listed below
⦁ Scissors, pins, matching thread for all fabrics with matching, wound bobbins, glue stick
⦁ 12 coordinating buttons (optional)
⦁ One 20 pillow form (or 22 if you like your pillow overstuffed) bring to the second session
Fabric: directionals NOT recommended
Fabric A Print (center of window) -1 yard depending on cutting (see below). Can use scraps.
Fabric B solid or reads as solid, medium or dark (outlined curve of window) Approx. 1 yd.
Fabric C solid or reads as solid, light (background of window and back of pillow) Approx 1 yd.
Cutting:
Fabric A:
13, 4" squares (* *NOTE if fussy cutting center windows, be sure to cut on point or the orientation will be wrong)
4, 4" squares cut once on the diagonal for a total of 8 triangles
1, 5" square cut on diagonal twice for a total of 4 triangles
Fabric B:
72, 4" squares
Fabric C:
36, 4" squares
2, 15" x 21" for back of pillow
Ironing:
Fold the 72, 4" squares of Fabric B in half, wrong sides together, on the diagonal and press.
