GATHERING FOOT - 219 & 224 ONLY

Single Layer Gathering / Shirring Foot

Create great gathers in shirr fabric. The underside of this foot is designed so that only half of the foot makes contact with your machine's feed dogs....this causes a gather in the fabric as you sew. It is recommended that you set your machine's tension and stitch length to a slightly higher setting to help with the gathering affect.
