QUILTED BLOCKS #2

You can join them all, or a smaller set of blocks, and add appliqué designs on top of them.  Each design is based on a geometric star motif.  There are a variety of ways to use either the 8″ x 8″ or 9 1/2″ x 11 1/2″ quilted blocks in addition to creating a whole cloth quilt: The possibilities are limitless.  One idea is to add any of the Owls from Santa Owls or Owls with Attitude after stitching out one or a group of quilted blocks.

The pattern includes instructions for creating a Whole Cloth Quilt and detailed instructions for joining the quilted blocks.

Stitch Area for 42 quilted 8″ x 8″ blocks requires 8″ wide hoop
Stitch Area for 42 quilted 9 1/2″ x 11 1/2″  blocks requires 9 1/2″ wide hoop
